IPC16 Thailand: The Global Permaculture Convergence You Can’t Miss in 2026
The World’s Permaculture Community Is Gathering in Thailand — Are You In?
IPC16 Thailand is one of the most significant permaculture events of 2026 — nine days of shared learning, cross-cultural exchange, and collective vision-building that our community draws on for years afterwards. If you’ve been following the global convergence movement, November in Pathum Thani is where it all comes together.
What to Expect
From November 7–15, 2026, the Golden Jubilee Museum of Agriculture in Pathum Thani becomes a living laboratory for regenerative ideas. Expect hands-on workshops grounded in real design challenges, field sessions visiting working permaculture projects across Thailand, and a program shaped — at least in part — by the participants themselves. This isn’t a passive conference. IPC16 actively invites attendees to bring their expertise, lead sessions, and co-create the agenda. Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or just finishing your PDC, there’s a role for you here.
Beyond the workshops, the convergence is a rare chance to sit across from permaculture educators and innovators from dozens of countries — learning not just techniques, but the cultural contexts that give those techniques meaning. Thai agroforestry traditions, Southeast Asian water harvesting, community land models from the Global South — the learning runs deep and runs both ways.

Why IPC16 Thailand Permaculture 2026 Is Worth the Journey
Permaculture has always been about more than individual gardens or homesteads — it’s a global design framework for how humans can live regeneratively on Earth. Events like IPC16 are where that framework gets stress-tested, updated, and expanded. Gathering hundreds of practitioners from across continents doesn’t just inspire; it builds the resilient networks our movement depends on. In a world facing accelerating ecological and social challenges, these connections aren’t a luxury — they’re infrastructure.
