She herself says about her photos: “With my photos I have simply tried to capture the beauty and grace of the flowers and their visitors and to give them a background. The real artist here is nature itself. I have been interested in nature and its creatures from a very young age. Even as a child, I could immerse myself in the contemplation of a flower or an insect and forget everything around me. But it wasn’t until 2006 that I started to capture what I love to look at in the form of photos. Since then, I have continued to develop and acquire my knowledge through self-study. With my photos I want to emphasize the beauty and grace of flowers and their pollinators and give them a background. This also applies to fruit and vegetables, insects and molluscs, birds and small mammals. Only on closer inspection can the details of the structures and veins be recognized, which is why I deliberately do not work with blurring. Because even the smallest and most inconspicuous flower, the most colorless insect and the most inconspicuous bird are a work of art on closer inspection. Most of my photos are taken in my garden in the sunlight. The backgrounds and post-processing are done on the computer.
