Funded in 2021, BelgEco is one of the youngest European ecovillage networks. Two Belgian organisations, the Flemish speaking Samenhuizen and the French speaking Habitat de participation created this nation-wide, multilingual network of ecovillages. Crossing language barriers, BelgEco is today entirely run by volunteers and has already enabled 100 young people to participate in Youth Exchanges.
