Initiated by some of Europe’s most known ecovillages (Damanhur, Popolo degli Elfi, Bagnaia and Torri Superiore) the Italian Ecovillage Network RIVE is one of the oldest European Ecovillage Networks. Even though an official association was created only in 2007, regular meetings have been happening since 1996.
